Mary and Bryan first met on a night out in October, 2010. They had a mutual friend and got chatting later in the night, mainly about rugby. Fast forward a few years and, on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning, the pair got engaged on the cliff walk in Donabate. They celebrated afterwards with a big family meal that Bryan had organised.

We got married at The K Club in Straffan. The venue was stunning but it was our wedding co-ordinator and the service provided by the team there that really impressed us.

The build up on the morning was lovely and very relaxed. The church was very special for both of us. We chose the music and singers that meant a lot to us both. It was lovely to sit facing the congregation as our church was quite small so it felt very intimate. Having my brother, nephew and dad bring me to the church was also very special. Walking down the aisle with my dad was so much fun. We enjoyed every minute.

Planning the wedding was fun but it can take over your lives. Try to enjoy it. After it’s all over, you will wonder why it consumed you so much.

Enjoy every moment. You will only do it once, hopefully!

We would recommend Waterford Crystal for gifts, Jenny McCarthy for photography, David Coyle for videography, Sharon Hoey for the dress and Louis Copeland for suits.
